Lebanon - Borders of Blood

In 1975, a brutal civil war breaks out in the pastoral country of Lebanon, leading to horrific massacres between Christians and Palestinians. On the verge of defeat, the Christians turn to Israel for help.

Israel invades south of Lebanon to push Palestinian militias away from its borders and to side with their Christian allies. Israeli soldiers are first greeted by the locals with rice and flowers but shortly after, it turns into bullets.

The most proactive and planned war in Israeli history turns into a blood trap. The IDF captures Beirut, drives Ashef out, and becomes embroiled in the Sabra and Shatila massacre.

The power of a new Shiite organization, Hezbollah, is increasing and intensifying in its actions against Israel and the United States.

In 2000, Israel ends its military invasion into South Lebanon, and Iran's proxy - Hezbollah, immediately filled in and take control of the country. Six years later, a war breaks out between Hezbollah and Israel.
