Sarit Kanchanawatchara, aka “Java Sarit K.” Java grew up in a middle-class family in Nonthaburi, Thailand, surrounded by music and early digital technology from a young age. What began as a fascination with creating things on computers, DSLR cameras, and camcorders gradually became a way for him to express himself. At thirteen, after discovering his struggles with OCD and depression, filmmaking and music became a way for Java to process what he could not always put into words.
