Overview

With colorful flags and bright orange marigold flowers lining the streets, the Mexican city of Guanajuato was preparing to celebrate the Day of the Dead, a festival similar to the Japanese Obon festival. Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki fell in love at first sight with a courageous cat he met there. Iwago then decided to climb a hill overlooking the rows of colorful houses and search for cats from there, and visit any he found. Iwago, who has found many cats, shared his secret to finding cats.
