While Hanuman and Laxman tackle the demons on the battlefield, Lord Ganesha tries to free the nine planetary deities from Ravana's captivity.

With Hanuman overpowering Ravana in the battlefield, Bhandasura wonders if Rashmiprabha is the reason behind his repeated failures. However, he decides to take no action against her till the battle ends.

Lord Ganesha grows worried for Rashmiprabha as Bhandasura makes up his mind to sacrifice her. Subsequently, he tries to send Hanuman to assist Rama in his battle against Ravana.

After taking blessings from Rama and Goddess Parashakti, Hanuman sets out towards Mount Gandhamadana to resume his meditation. Meanwhile, Bhandasura has second thoughts about attacking Lord Ganesha and Rashmiprabha.

Mahishi becomes invincible after acquiring a boon from Lord Brahma and attacks the gods to take over heaven. All the gods' weapons fail to cause her any harm.

Lord Shiva's Kaameshwar form and Lord Vishnu's Mohini form come together to bring Lord Ayyapan into the world. All the gods and sages witness the divine incident with folded hands.

Lord Shiva narrates how Surasayi's son Surapadman expanded his reign of terror all over the universe. He adds that Surasayi instructed her sons to torment the gods instead of giving them an easy death.

Accompanied by Indra and other gods, Kartikeya marches towards Surapadman's palace. On their way, several gods end up getting swallowed by the evil forces.

Lord Ganesha narrates how a dance off between his parents led to the birth of his nine half-brothers in the past. He adds that their respective nine mothers were given the name, 'Navratnas'.

Kartikeya's nine half-brothers resolve to defeat Gajmukhan for the gods. Meanwhile, Surapadman grows restless waiting for the gods to get captured by Gajmukhan.
