While his family is busy enjoying Himavat's hospitality, Lord Ganesha feels disturbed as he keeps having some strange visions. With several questions popping up in his mind, he contemplates sharing his problem with Lord Shiva.

Lord Ganesha finds himself in a fix as everyone in his family ignores his questions while conducting his abhisheka. Subsequently, he longs for a friend who might help him find answers.

Longing for a friend, Lord Ganesha follows the ashes to a distant place. Subsequently, he ends up giving the ashes a form, leading to the birth of Bhanda Kumar.

Bhanda Kumar demonstrates his cruelty to Lord Ganesha by plucking a flower and subsequently destroying it. Lord Ganesha then tries to teach him the difference between good and evil.

Lord Ganesha reprimands Bhanda Kumar for ignoring the former's teachings and gobbling up an innocent parrot to satiate the latter's hunger. Subsequently, he advises Bhanda Kumar to accept his wrongdoings and apologize for it.

When Bhanda Kumar tries to sit on Lord Shiva's meditation spot, Lord Ganesha grows furious and decides to punish him. To save himself from the punishment, Bhanda Kumar offers to meditate to please Lord Shiva.

Lord Ganesha grows restless as he continues to have strange visions, following which he seeks his parents' help to find answers to the questions popping up in his mind. He also narrates to them how he created Bhanda Kumar.

Lord Shiva narrates to Lord Ganesha how Hayagriva acquired the Vedas for himself, following which Lord Vishnu jumped into action to protect the universe from its repercussions.

Lord Shiva narrates to Lord Ganesha how Lord Vishnu's divine Hayagriva form came into existence to fight Hayagriva, the demon.

As advised by Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha sets out to look for Lord Vishnu's divine Hayagriva form to find answers to all the questions on his mind.

Lord Vishnu's divine Hayagriva form narrates the stories of Lobhasura, a demon born due to Kuber's greed, and Mamtasura, another asura born due to Goddess Parvati's maternal instinct and anger.

Lord Vishnu's Hayagriva form makes Lord Ganesha realize that the latter made a big mistake by creating Bhanda Kumar, who is busy praying to Lord Shiva to become powerful.

Lord Ganesha comes up with a plan to trap Lobhasura with some help from Goddess Laxmi and Kuber. Meanwhile, Lobhasura thinks of what he should ask for from the divine wish-granting tree, Kalpavriksha.

Lobhasura evades Lord Ganesha and Karthikeya's attacks and flees with half of Kuber's wealth. However, Lord Ganesha is certain that Lobhasura will return to steal the rest of the wealth that he left behind.

Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya and Kuber must crack some tricky riddles to retrieve Kamdhenu, Kalpavriksha and other heavenly belongings stolen by Lobhasura.

Lobhasura is confident that Lord Ganesha will never be able to solve the riddles and will remain busy with it till Bhanda Kumar completes his meditation to please Lord Shiva and acquire more power.

With some help from Kuber, Kartikeya and Mushak, Ganesha solves the riddle to locate Lobhasura. Subsequently, they conclude that Lobhasura can be found in a place inhabited by snakes.

After successfully tracing Lobhasura's location, Lord Ganesha confronts him in a duel. Subsequently, he hatches a plan to retrieve all the stolen divine objects from Lobhasura.

Lord Ganesha, in his Gajanan form, teaches a lesson to Lobhasura by defeating him and retrieving all the stolen items from him.

After his battle with Lord Ganesha, Lobhasura realizes that he must never succumb to his greed. Subsequently, he feels confused about the purpose of his life and seeks guidance from Lord Ganesha.

'Vikata' Ganesha stands still as Kaamasura shoots his most powerful weapons towards the former. Consequently, Kartikeya intervenes but fails to tackle the attack.

In order to counter Kaamasura's powerful attacks, Vikata Ganesha shoots his divine weapon towards him. Consequently, Kaamasura gets tied up and is unable to free himself despite using all his strength.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya are left helpless when Goddess Parvati forbids them from attacking Mamtasura. To add to their woes, she presents Mamtasura with a powerful weapon for his protection.

Mamtasura hatches a sinister plan to get rid of Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya. He is left disappointed when the duo escapes unhurt.

Due to the influence of Mamtasura's spell, Kaikesi condones Ravana's wrongdoings. Subsequently, she advises him to ignore his wife Mandodari's warnings regarding his disrespectful attitude towards women.

Under Mamtasura's spell, Hanuman commits a blunder, due to which the latter gets cursed by a sage. Consequently, he forgets how to use his divine powers.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya fail to attack Mamtasura as the latter is protected by the Yogini goddesses sent by Goddess Parvati. Consequently, the duo conspires to fuel Goddess Parvati's anger against Mamtasura.

Mamtasura finds himself in trouble after Goddess Parvati decides to punish him for his misdeeds. His blood runs cold when she angrily advances towards him and begins thrashing him.

With Sheshnag's help, Lord Ganesha appears in the form of Vighnaraj to punish Mamtasura. Following an intense battle, a defeated Mamtasura repents for his misdeeds and offers prayers to Vighnaraj Ganesha.

Pleased with Bhandasura's devotion, Lord Shiva appears before him to grant him a boon. Meanwhile, all other gods worry about the possible consequences that this turn of events will have on the universe.

All the gods helplessly watch in disbelief as Bhandasura uses his powers to create his two brothers, a sister, four wives and eight children. Subsequently, he decides to finalize a place of residence for himself and his family.

Shukracharya summons the entire asura clan to coronate Bhandasura as their new king. Before the commencement of the rituals, Bhandasura seeks blessings from Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva.

Goddess Parashakti appears before the gods in her divine form after they all cut off their respective left arms as an offering in the yajna being performed to summon her.

When Goddess Katyayani appears on the battlefield to help the goddesses against Mahishasura and his army, he recalls how she defeated him in the past. Meanwhile, Bhandasura tries to suppress his inner voice.

Goddess Vindhyavasini appears on the battlefield to help the goddesses and demonstrates her strength by overpowering Mahishasura. Consequently, Bhandasura tries to increase Mahishasura's strength but in vain.

While Hayagriva and Durgamasura try to destroy the Vedas, Bhandasura is presumed dead. With time running out of their hands, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya take a shot at protecting the universe but fail to locate the Vedas.

Hayagriva absorbs the divine light of the Vedas to ensure that Kartikeya and Ganesha are unable to locate them. Consequently, the siblings agree to awaken Goddess Parashakti from her meditation for help.

Lord Ganesha thanks the divine Hayagriva and Goddess Vishalakshi for killing the evil Hayagriva and Durgamasura, and protecting the Vedas. Their joy is short-lived as they witness a deadly weapon launched to destroy the universe.

All the gods and goddesses pray to Lord Vishnu's turtle form, Kurma, who protects the universe from the deadly weapon. Meanwhile, Bhandasura is speechless when his wife asks him to help her find their daughter.

All the gods and goddesses witness history repeat itself as Lord Vishnu's boar form, Varaha, and part-man part-lion form, Narsimha, defeat Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashyapu.

Lord Vishnu appears in the form of Vamana, a person of a short stature, to battle Balendra but is unable to defeat him. Consequently, Mahakaya and Mahotsaha take control of the situation.

Rashmiprabha asks Lord Ganesha to let her go back to Bhandasura to convince him to stop the war. Meanwhile, the goddesses are up for a battle against Sahastrabahu, who can only be defeated by Sage Parshurama.

While Rashmiprabha keeps following Bhandasura around in his palace and repeatedly calls out to him, he considers it an illusion and ignores her.

Rashmiprabha's efforts to dissuade Bhandasura from continuing the war go in vain, following which he decides to send Ravana, Meghnada and Kumbhakaran to the battlefield.

Lord Rama and Laxman enter the battlefield and defeat Kumbhakaran for the goddesses. Subsequently, Lord Ganesha suggests inviting Hanuman to ensure their victory against Ravana and Meghnada.

Lord Ganesha sets out towards Mount Gandhamadana to invite Hanuman, the only one who can stop Meghnada from acquiring a boon from Goddess Nikumbhala.

Hanuman agrees to accompany Lord Ganesha to the battlefield to help Lord Rama and Laxman. Meanwhile, Meghnada is on the verge of completing his yajna to please Goddess Nikumbhala.

Accompanied by Lord Ganesha and Laxman, Hanuman marches towards the spot where Meghnada is performing the yajna to please Goddess Nikumbhala. The trio must defeat several ferocious asuras to accomplish their purpose.
