Set during a fictionalized Joseon Dynasty, it follows Gu-cheon, an arrogant ghost-slayer who can walk between worlds, and Saeng-gang, a lowly court lady who hears the dead, as they team up to save the last royal heir.

After a mysterious death, the king summons the spirit slayer Gu-cheon to banish the pond spirit. Saeng-gang, who hears the dead, also appears before him.
E2Episode 2After a close call while pursuing the pond spirit, Gu-cheon makes a pact with Saeng-gang. Later, they uncover the truth behind the salt storehouse ghost.
