Jagriti gets Kalikant's smuggled goods seized, which Kalpana brings to the mansion. Later, Jagriti makes a promise to Ganga. The business loss angers Kalikant, and he ends up harming himself.

Suraj is suspicious of Jagriti but finds no evidence. Akash interrogates people in the slum, and Kachori tells him a false story. Sapna searches Jagriti's room, and soon, Jagriti teaches her a lesson.

Jagriti admits to Suraj that she intercepted Kalikant's trucks, and he takes an oath. She makes another vow against Kalikant and also promises something to Ganga. Alex comes to recover his money.

Jagriti discusses with Alex and decides where and how much money to deliver. She tries to know Suraj's plan, but he catches her red-handed. Suraj then devises a strategy against Jagriti.

Jagriti executes her plan of looting Kalikant's money. However, Suraj locks her in Ghoongru's house and lies about her abduction at home. Akash learns about Sapna's actions through her friend.

Sapna makes a revelation when Akash strangles her. He gets suspicious when he spots Jagriti's exam papers in Suraj's hands and gets his location tracked. Meanwhile, Suraj brings the papers to Jagriti.

Alex eyes Kachori inappropriately and conspires with Kalikant. Suraj brings a pundit, who offers a remedy for the ‘dosh’ in Kalikant’s birth chart, ultimately thwarting Jagriti’s plan.

With Kachori's help, Sapna and Jagriti figure out Kalikant's ploy. To bring Akash and Suraj on the same side, the duo lock them up in a room. Later, Kalikant announces his decision to the family.

Akash joins Jagriti to get books and outsmarts Kalikant to bring them home. At Suraj’s prompting, Jagriti tells Kalikant that she won’t take the IPS exam, revealing Suraj’s plan.

Suraj, Aakash, Jagriti and Sapna go away from home for Jagriti's studies. However, Sapna schemes to have them caught by Kalikant. As Jagriti focuses on her studies, Suraj looks after her.

Kalikant’s plan to kill Jagriti fails. Suraj warns him in anger. While Akash shares good news with Jagriti, Kalikant sets a condition for withdrawing the FIR against her.

After Kalikant withdraws the FIR, Suraj and Jagriti escape the pavilion, avoiding to reverse their marriage vows. Furious, Kalikant uncovers Suraj’s plan, only to be hit with shocking news.

Jagriti's death devastates her loved ones, while Suraj spirals into intoxication and considers leaving home. Later, he goes to Jagriti, now in IPS training, and unveils his plan.

Suraj takes care of Jagriti's needs during her training. Back at home, Ganga asks Akash to begin anew with Sapna. While Suraj and Jagriti celebrate their anniversary, Akash learns about Suraj's act.

Suraj finds Akash's behaviour odd. He eventually finds Akash spying on him and tries to calm his anger. Jagriti's identity of being a Chitta creates an obstacle for her in becoming an IPS officer.

Suraj and Akash put their plan into action to help Jagriti. In the mansion, Ganga aids a Chitta woman in labour, while Jagriti exposes Mokshgarh’s harmful tradition to the committee members.

Jagriti returns as an IPS officer and puts an end to Kalikant’s unlawful practices. However, Kalindi’s and his threats prevent a key witness from testifying.

Jagriti brings the Chitta people to the police station to get their FIR filed. Sapna firmly declares to Kalindi that she won't leave Jagriti's side, while Jagriti lashes out at Akash for his actions.

Jagriti falls into Akash’s trap but later exposes Kalindi after overhearing her conversation with Verma. When Suraj tries to evict Kalindi from the mansion, Ganga stops him.

On his way to court, Kalikant is shot by an unknown assailant. As he’s rushed to the hospital, Akash delivers grim news to Jagriti, who then confronts Kalindi.
