Season 1

Rishi asks the doctor about the person who gave money for Indira's treatment. The doctor hesitates at first, but later, points out towards a moving car. Rishi sees the car and realizes that the person was none other than Tauji. Rishi visits Tauji's house to find out the reason behind his gesture. Tauji reveals to him about his motive in private. Indira returns home safely with Rishi after getting discharged from the hospital. The Sharmas are shocked to see Tauji enter their house.

Indira insults Tauji on his arrival at the Sharma house. Rishi stops Indira at the moment and introduces his uncle, Tauji to the Sharma family. Tauji mentions Indira's ailing condition at the hospital and Rishi's attempt of dying, as his reason to give money for Indira's treatment. Tauji also tells Indira to leave her maiden home and stay with Rishi, at the Jwala Nivaas. He further adds Rishi in his strategy to convince Indira and bring her to the Jwala Nivaas.

Inder gets shocked after he accidently meets Tauji, his lookalike outside the Sharma house. Indira gets irritated after she meets Tauji, who asks her to stay with Rishi's family at the Jwala Nivaas. Rishi teases Indira on her inability to be a housewife and pertain to the responsibilities of being a housewife. Indira gets defensive and challenges Rishi, by confirming her stay at Jwala Nivaas for a good hundred days. Indira tries to charm her family, by preparing a sweet dish in order to celebrate her last few days in the Sharma house. But, she receives dejection and insult in return.

Indira listens to Kutumbh and Inder's conversation wherein, Inder confesses about stabbing a knife in Indira's back. Rishi tries to hurt Inder at first, but later, calls the police to get him arrested. Indira regrets for showing her concern towards her family. She prevents Inder from getting arrested and allots the responsibility of the house to Kutumbh. Indira, Rishi and Indu proceed with their journey towards Jwaala Nivas. Rishi informs the same to Tauji. Tauji sends his men to forcefully bring Rishi, Indira and Indu. Tauji's men alongwith their leader, stops the bus and take along Indira and Indu with them leaving back Rishi. Indira catches a glimpse of Rishi and stops the car she is travelling in. Rishi however, gets annoyed on Indira, after she slaps the leader of the group.

Rishi introduces the person Indira slapped as Kulbhushan, his elder brother. Rishi's family and Kulbhushan proceed on their journey to meet Jwaala Devi. Jwaala Devi gets furious on Indira, after Kulbhushan mentions her about Indira slapping him. Jwala Devi orders Indira to apologise to Kulbhushan by placing her shoes on her own head. Indu and Indira object for the same to Rishi about following Jwala Devi's order. Rishi gets confused on favouring her wife over his grandmother -- Jwala Devi.

Kulbhushan's younger brother Veera welcomes Rishi and his family with garlands. Jwala Devi caresses Rishi by recalling the times of his childhood. Kulbhushan's wife cherishes with the thought of meeting her brother in law's wife. An old lady appears during the welcome ceremony of Indira. The lady stops Kulbhushan's wife from performing Aarti on Indira and instead, asks her daughter Sugandha to perform the Aarti.

Rishi introduces the old lady to Indira as Jamuna Dayi. Indira gets disturbed after Jamuna Dayi mentions about a bride's life, which should always be engaged within the closed doors of the house, from the time she joins the family till the time of her death. the doctor visits the Sharma house with Zara and confirms Rishi's paralytic condition. Munna replaces the medicine given by the doctor with a medicine that gives Rishi constipation.
