Dr. Jung-woo is a skilled plastic surgeon known for his 'golden hands' and high reputation. One night, he must perform emergency surgery on a crime victim instead of a cosmetic procedure, earning him recognition as a heroic doctor.

Detective Min-hyung finds a surprising name in a suicide note, putting Jung-woo in trouble. After the hospital director announces support, Jung-woo must perform surgery for crime victims. He and Min-hyung clash as they work together again.

While investigating Jung-woo's relationship with the suicide note, Min-hyung discovers that he is connected to a horrific incident from seven years ago.

Jung-woo is about to jump off the roof when a patient makes him stop dead in his tracks. Min-hyung tracks a suspicious man around Jung-woo and is shocked when he finally confronts him and discovers his true identity.

Min-hyung finds the home invasion culprit, but Jung-woo offers a medical opinion that contradicts the investigation. Meanwhile, a patient treated by Woo-jin recognizes the injured victim and shares suspicious rumors.
