Synopsis

All the colony members want an answer from Vasant, about who this Premlata is. They demand to know if he has married, and if so, why? Vasant tells Varsha how he came across Premlata and her father, and how he signed for them what he thought were papers of rent, but which turned out to be the papers of court marriage.
